Holiday Inn Express - Charleston/Kanawha City, an IHG Hotel

Staff was very friendly !! Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. I loved the “your room had been sanitized” sticker put on the door than you had to pull off before opening the door. Even had a Keurig coffee pot !! I was able to use my own coffee pods I had with me !!

Staff was great, especially when Booking.com never sent them my reservation. They were kind and professional while getting me a room regardless of Booking.com messing up. Gave me dinner suggestions and even directions to get me where I was headed the next day. The king bed was great, and the pillows were amazing. I need to find out what they were, because it was the first time my neck hasn't hurt in a long time. The AC worked very well. Room was a king room and was clean and quiet, with a clean sofabed( which is usually a hotel rarity)and coffee table that worked well for me to eat my dinner. Parking was fine and I felt safe, as a female traveling alone. I wish I'd brought my bathing suit, because the pool looked very nice. Grabbed breakfast in the lobby in the morning, but took it to go. They did have hot, cooked options available but I was on the run. Great stay.

The breakfast was great! Nice selection of hot foods that were good quality. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We also used the pool, which my toddler enjoyed.
